Hi, I’m Abby.
I’ve been in dental since 2000, and one thing I’ve learned is that hygienists have always been capable of more. No one really showed us how to step outside the operatory, build something of our own, or practice in a way that truly feels aligned. Many stay where it’s comfortable even when it no longer feels right. They feel rushed and limited, and they sense there has to be more.
This is not just about doing hygiene. You are helping change the profession. You inspire independence and create patient first care.
You can slow down, build real relationships, and practice with intention. You can love hygiene again while building your own dream. I created The Untaught Path because even after nearly 20 years of being able to own practices, many are still playing small. It is not because they cannot do it, but because no one showed them how.
